Behind The Lens

Hi, I’m Jaimin. I live in small village called Great Bridgeford in Stafford with my wife Neena and our five-year-old son Jonah.
I’d describe myself as an accidental filmmaker. Back in 2022, I took some time away from work to travel with my family. During that season, I started capturing moments on my phone and sharing short videos on Instagram. A few words of encouragement from some friends and family was enough to spark something, and that’s where my filmmaking journey began.
Since then, a lot has changed. I bought my first camera… then my first lens… then a second camera and lens—and it never really stopped. What began as curiosity quickly turned into passion.
I was introduced to weddings through Chris J Films, and I instantly fell in love with it. I discovered a deep passion for capturing moments that truly matter—moments filled with love, joy, faith, and lasting meaning.
While I work full-time in IT, over the past few years I’ve realised that filmmaking is what brings me the most joy and fulfilment. Telling real stories, preserving genuine emotion, and creating something meaningful is what drives me, and maybe one day, this will become my full-time calling as a wedding filmmaker.

What does Eyes of Light Mean ?
My faith is the most important part of my life. As a Christian, the Word of God guides everything I do , and when it came time to name my filmmaking business, I knew it had to be rooted in Scripture.
The name Eyes of Light comes from The Bible, specifically Matthew 6:22:

“The eye is the lamp of the body. So, if your eye is healthy, your whole body will be full of light.”
This verse speaks about perspective , what we choose to focus on and how we see the world. When our eyes are set on what is good, pure, and true, light follows.
Eyes of Light represents the way I approach filmmaking: seeing people with intention, capturing moments with honesty, and reflecting light through the stories I tell. My goal is not just to film what happens, but to preserve the beauty, meaning, and emotion within it.
My approach

The most important thing to remember is that this is your special day. I am there to capture it honestly, beautifully, and as it truly unfolds.
My approach is to be as discreet as possible in every aspect. I believe that when a wedding day is overly orchestrated, it can lose its natural rhythm. The pressure to perform or repeat moments can pull couples out of the experience itself. Your wedding day should be fully lived, not directed.
My approach is simple: observe, anticipate, and document.
By allowing the day to unfold naturally, I’m able to capture genuine emotion, real connection, and honest storytelling—preserving your wedding as it truly felt, not how it was staged.
The most beautiful stories are real, unscripted, and full of life.
